Review

"It's a powerful message and I can tell you its helped one person already, and that's me, so thank you for  that".

G.Brown

Eye opening read.
I could not put this book down. Gives you a great insight into what people go through when suffering with their mental health. Certainly has changed my view/attitude when dealing with MH jobs. A must read.

Incredible!
This book takes you through the most harrowing time of Beck’s life, it is raw, brutally honest and inspiring.

What an amazing woman you are, sharing all what you endured to help others and educate people. It was an emotional read, and I am in awe how you got through it❤️

Wow, what a brave and inspirational lady you are Becks to share such a personal and traumatic experience that you went through in your life. Sharing your recovery to help others see their is light and hope to move forward with a positive outcome. 🥰

"Having read your book I have no doubt that you will be an inspiration to many"

"I really enjoyed it, it drew me in and I wanted to keep on reading and reading. I found it very hard hitting and it totally gripped me. I honestly felt like i was watching you when I was reading it due to the excruciating detail you have gone into. It is written so well that i can see it happening and feel how you were feeling."

Review.

An absolutely amazing book giving a true insight into the state of the mental health system that still continues to fail the most vulnerable in our society. Well done to the author Rebecca House for a gripping account and as a mother of a son with mental health issues myself, I found this book very moving. Well done!

"Beautifully written book and very informative if somewhat sad and is a must read. You couldn’t help but feel compassion for Rebecca with the treatment she received in that awful place, all she needed was the help and understanding that those so called professionals should have provided and who failed miserably instead choosing to subject Rebecca to inhumane treatment
So glad she is now in a happier place now."

Probably one of the quickest books I’ve read because I just didn’t want to put it down. Thank you for being so open and honest. I felt a rollercoaster of emotions reading this and I’m so glad to see you found your happy ever after eventually.

Wow! What a brilliant read. This book has been written from the heart. I hope anyone reading it who has the slightest problem gets the strength to build themselves back up like Beck did as she has more than proved it can be done. I really admire her for being brave and allowing people to see the trauma she went through. (Review by Gillian Mankowski)

Thank you Rebecca House for such an honest, raw, insightful and human account of your experience with psychosis and the road to recovery. Everyone needs to read this!! I need to get it signed 😀

"I purchased and have read this book. Whilst i knew it would be an insightful read, what i didn't expect was to be able to relate to many parts of it. I knew that some life events had affected me quite badly, but this book inspired me to seek help before I came 'stuck' in the situation. I would recommend anyone to read this whether you are going through a rough time or not. Its already helped me. Respect to the author."
